Dr. Atilla Buyukgebiz Prof. Dr. Atilla Buyukgebiz is a distinguished pediatric endocrinologist with more than 34 years of professional experience. He is widely recognized for his contributions to the field of pediatric endocrine science and has held several esteemed clinical and academic positions throughout his career. He served as the Head of the Growth and Adolescence Department at Florence Nightingale Kadıköy Hospital and KadıköyŞifa Ataşehir Hospital. Additionally, he led the Pediatric Endocrine Department at Istanbul Bilim University, where he worked as a professor and head of the department. Prof. Dr. Buyukgebiz completed his overseas subspecialty training at two of the world’s leading institutions—Stanford University in the United States and London Middlesex Hospital in the United Kingdom—during a period when international training was mandatory for specialization. His extensive clinical background is complemented by active participation in scientific committees and advisory boards. He is a member of the Iodine and Iodine Diseases Scientific Board as well as the Adolescent Health Scientific Board of the Ministry of Health of Turkey. His core clinical interests focus on the healthcare of children and adolescents with endocrine disorders, including prevention and management of growth problems, developmental concerns, and hormonal imbalances.
