Dr. Davit Saba is a highly distinguished cardiovascular surgeon whose career spans several decades of clinical excellence, academic leadership, and international medical advancement. His foundational medical journey began in 1988 at Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine, where he pursued a specialization in cardiovascular surgery and successfully completed it in 1994.

From 1995 to 1996, he fulfilled his military service at GATA Haydarpaşa Training Hospital. In 1996, he returned to Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine and embarked on an academic career marked by continuous professional elevation. Over nearly two decades, he progressed through key academic titles—from Expert to Assistant Associate Professor, Associate Professor, and ultimately Professor—making substantial contributions to the field through clinical practice, surgical excellence, and research-driven education.

Driven by a commitment to advancing cardiovascular surgery, Dr. Saba expanded his expertise through international training and collaborative work. He worked at Toronto General Hospital in 2012, at Koşuyolu Heart Training and Research Hospital from 2012 to 2014 as a specialist in heart transplantation, and at the University of Hannover-Freiburg in 2013. These esteemed institutions enriched his clinical skillset and strengthened his contributions to complex cardiac surgery.

Between 2015 and 2017, Dr. Saba served in the Cardiovascular Surgery Department at GOP Medical Park, followed by a tenure as Professor of Cardiovascular Surgery at Bayrampaşa Kolan Hospital from 2017 to 2018. In 2019, he joined Istanbul Florence Nightingale Hospital, where he continues to provide advanced cardiac surgical care.
